From Wanderers to Guides
Isle-ibis started in 2014 when two friends, both geography graduates with an obsession for maps and unmarked roads, decided that the British Isles deserved better than bus tours hitting the same ten spots.
We spent our first year simply exploring, filling notebooks with places that moved us and people whose stories deserved sharing. From a crofter on Lewis teaching us about kelp harvesting to a retired miner in the Valleys explaining why his grandfather walked out in 1926, we learned that the richest travel happens in conversation.
Today, that spirit remains. Every journey we design is built around encounters, not just destinations.
